Koboji Temple, a bustling place famous for its autumn leaves. From the temple precincts, you can see the Tekona Shrine and the Mama no Tsutsubashi Bridge. The Tekona Shrine enshrines the Manyo beauty "Tekona", who was believed to have a miraculous effect on childbirth and herpes, and was constantly visited by pilgrims.
紅葉の名所として賑わいを見せた弘法寺。その境内から「手古那神社」と「真間の継ぎ橋」を望む。手古那社は万葉美人「手古那」を祀っていて、安産と疱瘡に霊験があるとされ、参詣者が絶えなかった。
