Kyobashi, which was the center of today's Ginza-dori, was built in the same luxurious style as Nihonbashi and Shinbashi, as it was a bridge for the Shogunate. Beyond it, bamboo wholesalers lined the streets. A group of "Soshu Daisen Pilgrims" carrying their souvenir Bonten crossed the bridge.
現在の銀座通りの中心地だった京橋は、日本橋や新橋と同じく幕府の御入用橋だったので造りは豪華。その向こうに竹問屋が軒を連ねる。土産の梵天を担いだ「相州大山詣り」の一行が橋を渡ってゆく。
