Suruga-cho have gotten its name from the view of Mount Fuji directly in front of it. And depicted here is "Echigoya (today's Mitsukoshi)," a large store with the status of a symbol of Edo business and the status of the wealthy, as well as a familiar line of the evil official in Japanese historical dramas, "Echigoya, you're bad, aren't you?”.
駿河町は真正面に富士山が見えるので、この地名がついたという。そしてここに描かれるのは「越後屋、お主もワルよのぉ」でお馴染み、江戸ビジネスのシンボルであり富裕層のステータスの大店「越後屋（現在の三越）」
