At the foot of the bridge, which was called "Bikuni Bridge" because it was a hangout of private prostitutes "Bikuni" dressed as nuns, you will find a baked sweet potato shop and a gibier hot pot restaurant (in the Edo period, they called it "mountain whale" and served wild boar meat because eating animal meat was considered taboo). Winter eateries line the streets.

焼き芋屋やジビエ鍋料理店（江戸時代、獣肉食は禁忌とされていたため、「山の鯨」と称して猪肉を提供していた）。冬の食堂が軒を連ねる。
